I have the following knowledge 1. Developing/Programming : I have been involved (as a part of the team or the leader of the team) in several projects that involved design and development of IT systems for users. I have experience in developing databases (SQL Server, Oracle, SQL Base, PosgreSQL) as well as defining data flows within certain business process. As external SQL Server consultant I did few middle to big size projects. I also have experience in development of client-server applications (Visual Basic), internet/intranet applications (ColdFusion) and applications for handheld devices (Palm OS and Windows CE). 2. System Administration : I have a deep knowledge and experience with Windows NT and Windows 2000 operating systems and LAN networks as well as certain experiences with WAN technologies. I am competent in all Microsoft operating systems and their interaction with UNIX platform. During several years, I have built and broaden my knowledge of implementing and supporting Windows networks. I have worked with and have big experience with other Back Office components, like SQL, SMS, Exchange and Proxy Servers.
Experiences Softwise d.o.o. (from September 2000 to now) Running own company Softwise d.o.o. which is specialized in internet, intranet and desktop development. I was involved in lot of activities, from organization and customer contacts, to leading projects. Also my specialties are databases (primary Microsoft SQL Server but also PostgreSQL and Oracle) and desktop development (using Microsoft Visual Basic). I was leading enterprise size groupware solution, developed with Macromedia ColdFusion and Microsoft SQL Server. My roles was to define project targets, define database structures, define application logic and on the end, organize development team to develop it. Solution includes Project Management System, Document Management System, Groupware Planning System, Workflow Management System, Template Based Document Creation System and Communication System (includes eMail, fax, chat and normal mail). Leading development of games for Windows CE device from Siemens (Siemens SimPad). Games was developed in Microsoft Visual C++ and adapted to hardware specification of device. Defining project targets, database structures, application logic and organizing development of portal like internet application for exchanging different types of data and application. Application was written with Macromedia ColdFusion and Microsoft SQL Server. Purpose of application was to support Siemens SimPad. Working as external Microsoft SQL Server consultant on middle size project for KABA on their strategic product. Consulting includes all aspects of SQL Servers performance / design / security / stability / availability issues. I was involved in planning and implementing Microsoft BackOffice solution in middle size company which includes configuration of Windows 2000 Server, Exchange Server with faxing support, ISA server, IIS and SQL server. Also, I was and still I am involved in other projects which includes planning and developing all kinds of internet / intranet and desktop applications. Freelancer (from October 1999 to September 2000) I was working on project - Content management system - as chef database specialist. Project includes creation of RA model of data, physical model of data (Microsoft SQL Server) and writing stored procedures. I was working on project - Swissclick - as chef database specialist. Project includes creation of workflow - business logic, RA model of data, physical model of data (Microsoft SQL Server) and writing stored procedures. Project was huge - one of the biggest Switzerland portals running with 4000 hits per seconds in peek time. Leader of the project - Upgrade functionality and multilanguage support - on one existing solution. I have planed all steps which were needed, and coordinate their execution. Project includes creation of project documentation, RA model of data, physical model of data (Microsoft Access), user help documentation and was involved in realization of business logic and user interface in Microsoft Access. INFOING d.o.o. (from August 1994 to October 1999) Leader of the project - Automatization of Office Business Flows, Archive and ISO standards. The project involved about 10 individuals. I have created the project documentation (list of processes, their interaction), RA model of data, physical model of data (Microsoft SQL Server 7.0) and was involved in realization of business logic and user interface in Microsoft Visual Basic 6. I have created many Web pages for local Tourist Office (using MS FrontPage and Dreamweaver) that contained large amounts of DHTML code. For several years I was in
charge for planning, design, installation and support
of Windows NT networks for all of our customers. Jobs included: help in
finding the best solution for the customer, recommendation of hardware
needed, installation of operating systems, Back Office components
and other applications that users needed. As I was a leader of a team that
worked on those jobs, I played a key role in successful completions of
tasks. I have designed and
implemented enterprise-messaging solution (based on Exchange
Server) for one of the largest Croatian banks. The job included
planning, design, installations, configurations and testing of client
components (Outlook). The bank used leased lines to connect its
different locations (WAN). As a member of a company
that is a Microsoft Certified Solution Provider, I have provided education
for MS products. Education included teaching users about basics of
operating systems, using of Office applications, Internet and e-mail. More
than 60 people passed this education program. I have also created a number
of written materials that are used to train users in the use of
Microsoft applications and operating systems. I have created
several smaller applications (using Microsoft Visual Basic 4 and 5) that
are used to support applications that the bank runs on their UNIX servers:
I have worked on a project
of a business application for one of our partners. I have been involved in
application design as well as a programming in Oracle Forms Designer and
Oracle Developer. I have organized the
presentation of our company on biggest Croatian IT-fair (INFO).
The whole project involved about 20 individuals. We were presenting our
company on the area 80 square meters big. I was involved in design
and have leaded the team of developers that was developing business
software for several users of INFOING. I have personally supervised
the development and have been setting the standards for work. We
have used the GUPTA SQL Windows development tool and GUPTA SQL Base
database. The whole project involved about 10 individuals. I have led the project
"Automatization of Joint-Stock Corporation Secrateary". We have
used GUPTA SQL Windows development tool and GUPTA SQL Base database. The whole project involved
3 individuals.
